Throughout the park there was a smoky haze. Converting my images to black & white in Photoshop usually removed the haze. Anyway, I prefer black & white.
My first trip to Glacier was in July, 1981 & there was absolutely no haze & far, far fewer people. These days, during the summer months, the park is way too crowed.
At the Many Glacier entrance people were being turned back as the park there was at capacity. I managed to use my status as a veteran & a promise that we would stay only an hour or two to talk our way in.
Camera used: Canon EOS 70D
